Historia
Twelve years ago, eight friends ran an exclusive group at university: The Masquerade Murder Society. The mysteries they solved may have been grisly, but they were always fictional - until their final Christmas Masquerade, when one of the group disappeared, never to be seen again. Twelve years later, the remaining members of the group receive an invitation to a reunion masquerade, to be held in a beautiful and remote hunting lodge in Scotland. When they arrive they are each assigned a new identity themed around the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Pretty good if you’re looking for a seasonal read
Revisado: 12-20-24
Although the pacing at times felt a bit slow and the ending could have been more intriguing it is still pretty Good for a holiday mystery. The narration was good as well.

Historia
On the day he retires, Inspector Ashwin Chopra inherits two unexpected mysteries. The first is the case of a drowned boy, whose suspicious death no one seems to want solved. And the second is a baby elephant. As his search for clues takes him across the teeming city of Mumbai, from its grand high rises to its sprawling slums and deep into its murky underworld, Chopra begins to suspect that there may be a great deal more to both his last case and his new ward than he thought.

Fun cozy mystery
Revisado: 02-17-23
The narration feels very cozy and it really does transport you to India. The characters are interesting. I loved the elephant although I felt that I needed even more of it. The story was very simple and easily predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. The narrator is amazing.

Cozy story, but I found it a bit boring.
Revisado: 09-09-22
I wasn't that interested on the murder, the story is not really that suspenseful. But it is cozy and I had a couple of good laughs from the characters lines and actions. The actor reading it is good and does help the story.
