Very good story. Definitely, a story that will inspire young people to believe in themselves and fight for the community. This is the ‘fairy’ tale I’d want my daughter to internalize - the princess she’d aspire to.

Too Exciting!

I am not happy with this book series. I own all five. And I have a membership to audible. Because I keep listening to this series over and over I don’t get to listen to the other books that I purchased, or the free books that is available in my membership, etc. Also, in some of the series it mentions events that happen in the Arsenal book series. If you haven’t read the Arsenal series how are you supposed to know what happened?!?!

Annoying Voice Actress, Story Just So-So

When I bought the audible, I thought I was buying the biography because I grew up knowing of Cathy Williams. LOL!!! It’s such a blessing that Cathy William’s life has been preserved. This was an excellent story. EVERY BIT OF IT!!! As a person whose great-grandfather was a black Creek / Native American I had some conflicting feelings about the role of BUFFALO soldiers. Other than that, I was fully immersed in the story so that I felt what Cathy felt: wretched when she wretched, almost suffocating in the barrel, I had a concussion and smelled the rotting of her puss riddled feet. This is now part of my ‘goto’ collection. Thank you.

PAINFUL AI WRITTEN AND READ SUPERMAN RIP OFF

Even a book written by AI should be edited.
This book is a knock off of SUPERMAN and the female laugh voices are horrible. I knew right away that the female voices were AI. WASTE OF MONEY & Time.

Many for One Theme Irritating but Story Development Good

It irritated me that so many adults were ok with sacrificing themselves just appease one woman. The author had been so inventive in the 1st book that the follow up book could have used more of it when it came to the storyline. It turned out great anyway.

Original Story That Touches Truth of Greek & AFRICAN Mythology

If you didn’t know- all European religions and Greek mythology are based on African mythology. So, I guess this story marries the well known Greek narratives with the people the stories come from. For me, this story is very original ( although someone having a ‘green thumb’ has been given its own myth). I enjoyed it mostly. I didn’t like the mc trusting her new friends so soon- especially since Carter didn’t give up any secrets. About to start the next book. Enjoy.
