Historia
On his last combat deployment, Lt. Cmdr. James Reece's entire team was killed in an ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government. Now, with no family and free from the military's command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he's learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward revenge.

Historia

So, you're single. Maybe you always have been; maybe being single is new for you. Either way, the good news is you're not alone! There are countless people trying to navigate being single and all the feelings and experiences that go along with it. Yet, no matter how many single people there are in the world, society still has this idea that you need someone else in your life to be truly happy.

Great advice
Revisado: 11-13-22
I certainly didn't like the Sheila McLey voice and entonation, sometimes she wanted to sound sound fun but it was irritating. But the content of the book was interesting and easy to follow. Several things are repeated over and over in different chapters so it's annoying at some point. The extras at the end are great and make up for the other flaws.

Historia
Suddenly finding herself 40 and single, Lori Gottlieb said the unthinkable in her March 2008 article in The Atlantic: Maybe she, and single women everywhere, needed to stop chasing the elusive Prince Charming and instead go for Mr. Good Enough. Looking at her friends' happy marriages to good enough guys who happen to be excellent husbands and fathers, Gottlieb declared it time to reevaluate what we really need in a partner. By looking at everything from culture to biology, in Marry Him, Gottlieb frankly explores the dilemma that so many women today seem to face.

Eye opener

I am listening to it for the second time, I think I need to acknowledge many advices from it yet. I felt like I was being described in several cases she mentioned. Don't be judgemental and listen to it all even there are parts you don't agree with, eventually you will find the answers you need.

Historia
Americans precede anything negative with three nice comments; French, Dutch, Israelis, and Germans get straight to the point; Latin Americans and Asians are steeped in hierarchy; Scandinavians think the best boss is just one of the crowd. It's no surprise that when they try and talk to each other, chaos breaks out. In The Culture Map, INSEAD professor Erin Meyer is your guide through this subtle, sometimes treacherous terrain in which people from starkly different backgrounds are expected to work harmoniously together.

Enlightening
Revisado: 11-25-21
It was a good audiobook, I was eager to complete it right away. It was suggested at school. The map is a great tool to understand the relative position between countries in the culture map. I think a lot of countries were left behind or at least, there should be a broader list of countries between the set. I would not say that Colombians are like Mexicans, but I couldn't help but to consider than one the more similar to our culture. The cases were very short and clear, I suggest this book to any person who has to work or live in a multicultural environment.
