Historia
In The Heartbeat of Trees, renowned forester Peter Wohlleben draws on new scientific discoveries to show how humans are deeply connected to the natural world. In an era of climate change, many of us fear we’ve lost our connection to nature - but Peter Wohlleben is convinced that age-old ties linking humans to the forest remain alive and intact. We just have to know where to look.

Love it!
Revisado: 11-11-22
The Hidden Life of Trees is probably my favorite naturalist book. This one, by the same author, is also excellent. This book focuses more on nature’s effect on humans. Highly recommended!

Historia
The story of our world and the different living things that have populated it is an amazing epic with millions of species, exotic settings, planet-wide cataclysms, and surprising plot twists. These 36 lectures tell the all-embracing story of life on Earth - its origins, extinctions, and evolutions - in a manner that assumes no background in science. At half an hour per lecture, you’ll cover the entire 4.54-billion-year history of Earth in 18 hours, averaging 70,000 years per second!

Great lecture series
Revisado: 11-11-22
One of the best lectures on organic evolution I’ve heard—both for detail, comprehensiveness, etc. I’d have loved to hear more on the evolution of plant life. These had one lecture devoted to the topic, but the rest were all focused on the evolution of kingdoms of animals, bacteria, etc.
Highly recommended!

Historia
Being rich is not normal: most people never achieve wealth in their lifetime. The very word "rich" describes a state beyond the median. To become rich, you will have to think radically differently from the way most people around you think. Do you know what those specific differences may be? Business and wealth guru Douglas Kruger strips away the feel-good hype and gets right down to the practical principles. He leads you through the types of thinking that hold individuals, families, and businesses in generational cycles of poverty.

This has changed my whole mindset around money
Revisado: 03-13-20
Douglas Kruger 'a book, Is Your Thinking Keeping You Poor should be read by EVERYONE. As a pathetically struggling and starving entrepreneur, I had no idea how much my mindset was holding me back. If you're deciding whether or not to get this book, it's worth whatever it might cost to get this information and implement it.
