An awesome adventure

This is not a new concept, but it is done in an excellent way. The story is rich, the character development smooth and the feel is quirky but enticing. Very well done.

Good story, but the language used...

I understand that in the art of storytelling, however outside of the racial slurs used-which i understand and accept as they were character drive-so.e of the descriptors used relied heavily on exaggerating the fact that certain characters were black, i.e. "the black man" when this had no need to be expressed as we were introduced to this man earlier and fairly frequently in the story. I finished the book and liked the story but some of the tone almost had me walk away several times. The performer did a great job.

I truly enjoyed the book. The characters were developed, the storyline was entertaining(but predictable) and the narrator kept me engaged. This was supposed to be a to and from work listen but I kept this book playing every chance I had.

I loved this book! There was much in this book that I was familiar with and much in this book that angered me, but all of this book educated me. I will strive to become an ACTIVE anti-racist and vote, volunteer, and assist where I can to remove racist policies. A great read/listen.

Left me wanting to hear more of the story

I really enjoyed this book! at first I wasn't sure about the narrator's accent but it soon grew on me and kept me engaged and intent on hearing what came next. The 2 plot twists thrown in were well timed and well executed and I cant wait to hear the left out bits of Griz's story.

It's Odd this series isn't universally loved

This series kept me sane on my 40 minute drive to and from work...I need more Odd in my life. The storyline was great, the performance was amazing and the feel was unique. The story evolved a great deal from book 1 and I can only hope there are more stories to come from the Odd one.
