Great Follow up the the original story

I really liked this story especially as we got past the exposition. I could see the editing process at work with several story arcs that were introduced that weren’t followed. I think the pacing and completeness of the story would have benefitted from a few choice paragraphs that developed those ideas. There were a couple of obvious actions that Gretch ignores that make you scratch your head but all in all nothing to throw the books against the wall in frustration. The tone was also good. Well done and a good read.

Interesting story that fits the tone of the series

Much of the focus is on Alex but that is not a bad thing. The story is pretty straightforward and flows. A really nice setting as well and new components of the world are disclosed.

Series Hits a Good Pace

This is a really good story and a testament to the power of the second book. I am immediately went out of my way to purchase this title “Taken“ due to the fact that I enjoyed “Cursed“ so much that I didn’t want the story to be over. The story was very interesting and the only criticism I have is that the foreshadowing was laid on a little thick. Other than that, this is a book that you can stay up late and read.

Stay for the epilogue

I really enjoyed this story all elements of sci-fi storytelling Really worked well together for this book. The world building Was believable And The main character, while a bit overpowered, had a rationale for all that power. Secondary characters really didn't develop very well. But the focus is so much on the main character, who is in every scene, that you can forgive this Quickly. I thought That grown men having interest in this character, Could have been left out Quite nicely, without disrupting the story that the author wants to tell. The science Is Is well done And stays on the right side of sorcery. I also like the author created for epilogue s To explain the writing and the use of the science.

This book answers the question regarding what a harem anime would sound light i tv it was turned into a book. This is not the case for a good portion of the book, but when it shows some may want to skip ahead.

A Fresh Take on Time Travel

Would you listen to Extracted again? Why?

I would definitely listen to this title again. It's just a really good story and the writer doesn't leave loose ends hanging around.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Extracted?

Any of the scenes where an extraction occurs will do.

Have you listened to any of Carl Prekopp’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Haven't heard him as a narrator before or if I have I don't recall.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scenes with the Prime Minister were compelling.

Easily in the top 10% of and worthy of more than one read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Stiletto?

The introduction of Felicity as the focus of the story

What about Moira Quirk’s performance did you like?

Her voice is easy to listen to and the pace at which she reads is appropriate for the way the story plays out.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Definitely Felicity was awesome during the attack on London.

I am really happy that this book got the audible treatment. I just bought a hard copy of "The Rook" to get other people to read the book.
