It would have been great if she would have gone a little deeper into her own life.

Are you dealing with a difficult ex who’s ruining your kids’ childhoods? Does it feel impossible to be happy because of this, not being able to see a way out? Are the challenges of co-parenting too difficult that you feel lost and hopeless? You probably feel like you want to scream from the top of a mountain or pull your hair out because of the stress.

A resource for parent survivors
Revisado: 05-11-22
An easy read on the struggles of co-parenting with a narcissist. After reading this, you will understand that you are not alone and that what you're up against can actually be dealt with. Apart from the gender pronouns always identifying the narcissist as male, this was a good read.
I would have liked to see alternating gender pronouns and a more in-depth discussion about the practical tools for dealing with these kinds of toxic people as well as some specific places to find help, but it represents a good overall start.

Historia
Love might not be what we think it is. We all seek the happiness that comes from loving and being loved, yet we often find ourselves dissatisfied in our relationships and unable to grasp the cause. Thich Nhat Hanh here shows the way to overcome our recurrent obstacles to love - by learning to be mindful, open, and present with ourselves and others. As he explains, "training is needed in order to love properly; and to be able to give happiness and joy, you must practice deep looking directed toward the person you love."

All the truth you already know - in one volume.
Revisado: 04-24-22
This represents a lifetime of wisdom and knowledge written for a Western audience and simplified to be understood in bite-sized bits. It's well-done but for me, was lacking in the depth to really reach my heart. Great for folks that are busy but perhaps not suitable for people who think they know it all as it perhaps oversimplifies deeply complex concepts.

Historia
American society has become anti-male. Men are sensing the backlash and are responding. They're dropping out of college, leaving the workforce, and avoiding marriage and fatherhood at alarming rates. The trend is so pronounced that a number of books have been written about this man-child phenomenon, concluding that men have taken a vacation from responsibility. But why should men participate in a system that seems to be increasingly stacked against them?

A must read for anyone serious about gender issues
Revisado: 11-03-21
Resounding, reasonable, compassionate, based in common sense, balanced, well researched and forward thinking. Anyone serious about gender issues and caring enough about our children regardless of the gender they were born with, absolutely needs to hear this message.
