Not what I expected...
Revisado: 04-17-16
What did you love best about The Soldier's Secret?
Normally, I wouldn't read an historical fiction. Boy was I missing out. I enjoyed Emma's story, the writing, and the trials the characters went through. I found the book both intriguing and entertaining. Heather Osborne's understanding and knowledge of the time period shines throughout this novel. I highly recommend this book to not only history buffs, but romance and fiction readers.
What other book might you compare The Soldier's Secret to and why?
I've yet to read other books that compare to The Soldier's Secret because it's not my normal genre.

Poetic Writing Style
Revisado: 01-01-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to friends that love a good murder mystery as it has all the suspense they're looking for.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Breaking Measures?
The opening lines really set the tone for this book.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene was the final concert. The emotions of the main character shone through quite well.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I enjoyed the book enough to want to return to my desk and keep listening at work.
Any additional comments?
Emma Raveling is an artist who paints a beautiful tale with words. From the opening lines of this audiobook, I got the sense that I was in for a treat. I enjoyed the mystery of the classic "who done it" along with the author's eloquent writing style. The narrator did a fantastic job of portraying an array of characters.
My only critique for the story is that sometimes the character would do careless things that I felt she was too educated to do. However, this didn't change my overall enjoyment of the audiobook.

Loved the beginning...
Revisado: 09-29-13
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The book just about lost me once it skipped ahead in time. N.Y. Part of story became irritating.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
That Nell fell for Kyle's brother. So much potential there that wasn't explored.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Yeah. The narration was pretty good.
Do you think Falling into You needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, but I know there is one.

Great listen
Revisado: 09-29-13
Where does Tethered rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I really liked this book. I'm a big fan of Gillian Flynn and this book reminded me of something she could've written. The writing was very good also.
What other book might you compare Tethered to and why?
The One I Left Behind - because of the who done it aspect and damaged main characters.
Which scene was your favorite?
Really don't have a particular one. The whole book was good.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I could've yes.

Pigeon...
Revisado: 09-29-13
What disappointed you about Beautiful Disaster?
This book had potential in the beginning. It was almost like the first half and second were two different books. Second half almost made my ears bleed.
Has Beautiful Disaster turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
She was pretty awful. Especially her male voices.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I liked the game between Travis and Abby in the beginning.
Any additional comments?
