Historia
In The Surrender Experiment, Michael A. Singer tells the extraordinary story of what happened when, after a deep spiritual awakening, he decided to relinquish his personal fears and desires and simply let life unfold before him. Singer shares how this pivotal decision to embrace the flow of life led him to extraordinary success, sustained him through times of crisis, and allowed him to cultivate profound inner peace—whether as a young man pursuing a life of solitude in the woods, the founder of a thriving spiritual community in Florida, or the CEO of a billion-dollar medical software company.

A Heartwarming Journey of Self-Discovery in a Foreign Land
Revisado: 11-03-24
This is the second book by Diane Nagatomo that I've listened to, and I greatly enjoyed it. Ms. Nagatomo has masterfully applied her knowledge and experience of life in Japan and rural America to craft characters and stories that are both believable and engaging. Similar to the theme of her first book, "The Butterfly Cafe," the heroine in this one is pushed by circumstances to find herself and grow. Community and friends support and help her in her quest to create a new life in a land completely foreign to her. Towards the end, there's even a touch of suspense that makes the story even more compelling. All in all, this was a very enjoyable audiobook, and I'm looking forward to Ms. Nagatomo's next work.

A jump into another world
Revisado: 07-14-24
There are a few books by KB Raphael preceding this one that I enjoyed reading so, when I saw ‘Hello From The Other Side’ on Audible I had to get it. If you have read her other books, you will find some of your favorite characters in this one too but Hello brings a whole new twist to their ever changing and evolving story. It takes you to the world of brujas and brujos - sorcerers who can conjure and manipulate energy, and their allies - beings from other dimensions. KB Raphael’s stories always show that there is more to who we are and our world than what our eyes perceive. This book takes this theme a step deeper while giving the reader a story that keeps them guessing what is coming next.
I am looking forward to the next episodes!

Historia
Take a trip to old Japan with William Scott Wilson as he travels the ancient Kiso Road, a legendary route that remains much the same today as it was hundreds of years ago. The Kisoji, which runs through the Kiso Valley in the Japanese Alps, has been in use since at least 701 CE. In the 17th century, it was the route that the daimyo (warlords) used for their biennial trips - along with their samurai and porters - to the new capital of Edo (now Tokyo).

I greatly enjoyed this travelogue
Revisado: 06-03-23
I loved the history and many legends and stories the author shared as he walked down this ancient road - they gave it life and depth and inspired me to travel it too. Big thanks to both author and narrator for giving me so much enjoyment

Somewhat predictable as style but enjoyable
Revisado: 12-15-22
Nora Roberts tends to write like Nora Roberts. There are patterns that keep repeating in her writing but the story was enjoyable and appealing with the characters bringing it to live. The constant sex scenes were a little bit overdone. The story can survive even without them miss Roberts

Historia
Two years ago, Olivia Martindale left behind her Montana hometown and her husband, Jace, certain it was the best decision for both of them. Back temporarily to protect her almost-adopted daughters from their biological mother, she discovers an old, handwritten cookbook in the attic. Its pages are stained and torn, their edges scorched by flame. Some have been smeared by water or tears. The recipes are written in different hands and in different languages.

Why spoil a good story with all those implication of sex
Revisado: 01-07-22
I liked the story however all those jumping into sex scenes that were not here nor there were completely unnecessary. I can’t imagine why the author decided to insert them into the story

Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

One of the best books I have listened to in quite a while
Revisado: 12-12-21
I loved this book. The author shows a deep understanding of the human soul and the meaning of life. Of what gives life meaning. The story is moving and inspiring and something that I’m sure quite a few can relate to. The narrator did a great job as well. Oh wonderful book to listen to
