Historia
Lost in time, the town of Black Creek, Kentucky becomes home to temporal layers of people, creatures, and monsters from disparate eras. Journey beyond the time of humanity and witness the rewriting of mankind’s genesis. For Owen McCoy, a typical day on the job as head of security for Synergy, a research company conducting mysterious experiments, is boring at best. And that’s the way he likes it. Patrolling the Appalachian mountainside, where his now deceased father taught him how to hunt, is relaxing and connects him to the past.

Entertaining and different
Revisado: 02-23-21
I decided to listen to something outside of my normal zombie or EOTWAWKI genres and I'm glad I did. I found Flux really enjoyable. It was a different twist on time travel with monsters (real and human). I also enjoyed the narration, Jeremy Kafer did a good job giving life to the characters.

Why oh why did the narrator change?
Revisado: 06-25-18
I was on the road, enjoying very much the Blackout series, imagine my horror when I finished book 3 and immediately started book 4 only to not hear Kevin Pierce. I decided to give it a try since the story had been so good up to this point. I found the story is still good but can't deal with the narrator in this one. This series lost me after book 3, will be returning this one for sure. You can't go from using the 'voice of the apocalypse' in one book to a new voice in the next in the series.

Enjoyable and refreshing post EMP story.
Revisado: 05-26-18
I really enjoyed American Survivor, even more so than many of the other prepper audiobooks I have heard recently. Post-EMP/Apocalypse fiction has become my favorite and this one has reinforced my interest. There is a good mix of action, drama and humor to fill in the story where many authors would get tedious on the details that don't really matter. The characters were well developed but not over explained. Kevin Pierce is a fantastic narrator and did a great job as usual with this one. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series to come to Audible.

Wow! Such a whirlwind of time travel.
Revisado: 01-04-18
The first few chapters felt a little slow but I really wanted to hear this story as I've read nothing but good. I'm sure glad I stuck it out and gave it a chance. I usually find myself listening to zombie or EMP end of world scenario books but the past few time travel novels have been fantastic. The story is easy to keep up with even when bouncing in time, the narration was excellent even up to 1.35 speed (couldn't wait to hear it) and it concluded with a satisfying end to the journey. This is one of very few books I will likely listen to again and recommend to close friends.

Historia
Dylan Townsend stands on the beach watching commercial jets fall out of the sky like oak leaves twirling in the wind. A wing shears off the one closest to the shore just before it splashes down in the sea. Why was she telling him this outlandish story? What sort of tourist agency would offer people a front row seat to the end of the world? More importantly, why would anyone book such a vacation if there wasn't any way home afterward?

I really enjoyed this book. No zombies, werewolves or vampires, not really any bad guys to speak of, but this book really kept my attention. The character development was very good and the storyline had a good flow.

I really enjoy a good apocalyptic/end of world or zombie series but sometime I just want to find a short, standalone book for that instant audiobook-gratification.

This has been hands down the best zombie horror fiction series I have heard so far (I have listened and read many). Great character development through out the series.
Christian Rummel is a great narrator and I hope to hear him in many books in the future.

Narrator is fantastic, story is fun and keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting, needing to hear the next chapter. Not since the Mountain Man series have I so enjoyed the follow up books as much as the original.
