It took a while to recognize that the Yong in Yong-ae (last name of the heroine) is Dragon in Korean. Interesting story. Dragon, magic, murder mystery, lots of fantasy elements rolled into one little book. I would have enjoyed it a lot more though if it hadn't been for the REALLY annoying reader, who seems to think that whispering in all the wrong places, and shrieking in all the wrong places and using twang in an AI's voice would breathe life into the story that doesn't need help from a self-indulgent reader. It was hard to hear it sometimes (well, a lot of times) while driving. I almost stopped listening. Although I liked the story, this reduced my enjoyment of the book overall, and if the same reader reads this series I won't be buying another one.

It was a very enjoyable little book. The reader's performance was just right too. I was a little skeptical of a male reader reading a romance book but to my pleasant surprise he was very easy to hear while driving (with a lot of background noise) and with just enough life and nuance in the performance that it wasn't about how he interpreted the book but about the story. Going to look for more of the author and the performer.
