Historia
In The Earth Transformed, ground-breaking historian Peter Frankopan shows that engagement with the natural world and with climatic change and their effects on us are not new: exploring, for instance, the development of religion and language and their relationships with the environment; tracing how growing demands for harvests resulted in the increased shipment of enslaved peoples; scrutinising how the desire to centralise agricultural surplus formed the origins of the bureaucratic state; and seeing how efforts to understand and manipulate the weather have a long history.

Naive view of the world
Revisado: 09-03-24
I read the silk roads several times. This book is the opposite - a bit childish and naive. Referencing Greta T is a big no no. The black or other colour of people would have done the same were they so fortunate and lucky. Stop blaming the white man. It is the human nature.

Overly agressive and vague
Revisado: 08-20-16
Obvious recipes how to achieve success - work hard and plan well taking intonaccoutvthat things are more difficukt than they seem.
Grabt Cardone does not seem like a nice guy, rather like somebody with some dark secrets wakting to be uncovered... Nice or not nice he does not seem like a good and fair person.
On top of that he is a scientologist... Which proves the point that there has to somethibg very wrong with this guy...
