Useful stock book but extremely dry and repetitive

The author is clearly knowledgeable about top tech stocks and has useful information however the book is extremely dry and repetitive. A lot of going over figures and charts (although the audio did not come with any pdf or charts?). A lot of the points the author made about Amazon, Netflix, Facebook, and Google seemed rehashed. Is it really that difficult to understand why these companies are considered high-quality? It seems this book was 2-4 hours longer than it should have been.

Got some good insight into the psychology of the game. The book was a bit long, the author sometimes went off into tangents making some chapters unnecessarily long. The book didn't flow as well as it should have. Reading this book more for psychology rather than the game, I do appreciate the author's thought process and her ability to describe her surroundings/interactions.

This book definitely gave me a feeling that I am doing things right as a long-term investor of individual stocks. It takes a lot of quirks/unusual characteristics to be a great investor - you are going against the crowd a lot of the time, you are a misfit. Being an investor can be lonely, the majority of people don't invest or do it extremely passively. Thank you William Green for writing such a well-written book.

I was not disappointed with this book although if you read The Millionaire Next Door, This book didn't really add a great deal from the original imo I kind of view this book as a recap of the original, with some up-to-date stories, statistics, and facts.

This is a must-read book for beginning investors - easy to read, concepts are really easy to understand, focuses on the psychology and philosophy of money. Investing is so psychological, this book helps you understand that with good story-telling and lots of good examples.
