Are you the kind of person who enjoys the thrill of adrenaline pumping through your body? Are you constantly on the lookout for some new excitement or adventure? Let's face it; your working life can be really boring at times, especially if you have one of those desk jobs that require sitting for long periods of time. Sometimes you can almost feel those muscles atrophying. To compensate, you just have to get out and do something active at the weekends.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
A god listen. Well written and encompasses not only Paragliding but also segways into comparisons of Hangliding and Powered Paragliding. It is US centric and easy to listen to with clear chapter headings and subheadings.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Most interesting parts are the various options discussed by enthusiasts. So many choices and the freedom to learn easily an airsport and then from there many options available from there.
What aspect of Sangita Chauhan’s performance would you have changed?
Improved recording equipment or space. It sounds like she is sitting in a shower cubicle or a pantry. The quality of the audio is very poor. I was nearly not going to listen to it at first but then I thought it's only for an hour. Eventually I became used to the echo of the confined space she was recording in.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
This is not a story book. It is a factual 'reference' text. As I am a nerd if it was a movie I would probably go and watch it.
Any additional comments?
Worth a listen. For the time it is very comprehensive. Well read and easy to listen to once you get past the 'echo' sound quality. The emphasis on safety and training is well done. The author clearly has an indepth understanding and shares a wide and deep understanding of the many aspects of Airsports.

Could've used a younger narraror

I've read this book physically and decided to listen to it now, the narrator could've been Hal's age and then set a deeper tone for the older characters rather than the other way around but overall not a bad listen, definently recommend especially if you like the rangers series.

A little while into the book and you get use to the new chick but Suzi does the accents and tones and feelings so much more in depth and better, still a great story though & it only took 2 chapters to get used to her voice.

Great! But you have to pay attention.

This book was GREAT! I loved it but you have to pay attention to names and locations as it gets pretty confusing if you don't, would suggest listening to it while driving but I listen to books as I go to sleep so it's perfect for me and other like me.
