It’s a well written story but filled with traumatic accounts that I would prefer to not have been exposed to.
Once started, I couldn’t stop but also the trauma kept coming. The ending was thankfully positive.
I get that this could reflect some people’s reality but I hope and pray that no one ever, ever has to be exposed to this, ever.
Some really good thinking & mutual support from the main characters and some amazing ways of handling & coping.
But I am thankful it’s over.

It felt a little clichéd at times but the character building was great and I really appreciated the unique approach to creating the tension. It really stands out in this genre.
That said it was heartwarming and even gave me some life lesson takeaways.
It’s a great read.

I really enjoyed the story but all the cussing and kras-ness was too much for me.
Some scenes sounded straight up painful, and definitely not my cup of tea.
I would have liked the epilogue to have been a bit longer and leaning more into the main story.

I loved both the romance and the humor. I was constantly bursting into laughter.
The character building is amazing. Even the quirky town had so much character.
