The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Such a well done series, from the characters to the story line. All the unintended consequences of skippy helping Joe steal the flying Dutchman. I really hope this isn't the last that we here of the Merry band of pirates. Next I'd like to say what an Amazing job RC Bray has done. I really don't think anyone else could have done a better job. I have run across other books in the Audible lineup that are narrated by Bray. I listen to them just because Bray is the Narrator. Craig and RC are a dynamic duo. Thank you both for your work. I am a hooked fan of both of you. Keep'em coming!!

The Zero story line is entertaining enough but the Narrator is so difficult to sit through. He has Maria way over annunciating every syllable. Zero sounds like a cross between a beta male and a sophomoric Casey Kasum. Bixby sounds like Sliprock from the Flintstones. These books would be far more enjoyable with a different Narrator.

Over the previous eight installments I've come to expect a superbly written story performed by arguably the best narrator in the universe. Once again in the ninth saga the Alanson Bray duo did not dissapoint. (In the voice of Skippy the magnificent) WELL DONE CHAPS, WELL DONE!!! The only bad part about this whole thing is I will have to wait eagerly for book number ten!!!

No one can drag out a story like Nelson DeMille. This was a good story but it seemed to drag on forever with abton of filler. P.S - Nelson, listening to Kate about adding more romantic entanglements was a big mistake, it was unnecessary and it detracted from the story.
