Historia
A movie director is charged with murdering an actress during sex, and then staging her death to make it look like a suicide. One unsettling revelation after another leaves a retired FBI agent and an L.A. detective thinking they've unmasked a most frightening killer with almost inconceivable calculation.

Story good, narration off
Revisado: 01-22-17
As usual Connelly delivers. Great story, but the narrator's portrayal of Bosch was way off. His voice was raspy and gravelly. It took all the character out of Bosch

This was a wonderful read. I couldn't put it down. The historical weaved into today. I not only read a great mystery but learned of the Indian Nation's experience in early Hollywood

Great to continue the stories of Leaphorn & Chee
Revisado: 07-25-15
It is such a pleasure to continue reading the stories of Joe Leaphorn, Jim Chee and Bernadette Manuelito. Anne Hillerman has written a second novel that is impossible to put down.
