Who Are These Guys?!
Absolute joke. Their podcasts seem to focus simply on each other and not the Subject Matter !

Historia
Summer is coming to a close on the East End of Long Island, and Alex is no longer welcome. A misstep at a dinner party, and the older man she’s been staying with dismisses her with a ride to the train station and a ticket back to the city. With few resources and a waterlogged phone, but gifted with an ability to navigate the desires of others, Alex stays on Long Island and drifts like a ghost through the hedged lanes, gated driveways, and sun-blasted dunes of a rarefied world that is, at first, closed to her.

Historia
At a time when the edge of American settlement barely reached beyond the Appalachian Mountains, two visionaries, President Thomas Jefferson and millionaire John Jacob Astor, foresaw that one day the Pacific would dominate world trade as much as the Atlantic did in their day. Just two years after the Lewis and Clark expedition concluded in 1806, Jefferson and Astor turned their sights westward once again. Thus began one of history's dramatic but largely forgotten turning points in the conquest of the North American continent.

Excellent American History of the Courageous People whose mission was to Discover the Northwest Passage and Pacific Coast.
Revisado: 04-03-23
This American legacy was not taught in schools during my era. It should be an American History curriculum priority.
Stunning courage of these men, pregnant woman with two toddler boys; as they set out to discover the Pacific Northwest in the early 1800’s.
****
Narration is better by setting the speed just a bit slower. Not too slow. Eliminates the monotone and makes the narrator’s voices more enjoyable.

Historia
How did a young mail carrier from Oklahoma put together a ranch in southeastern Colorado, during the depression, and when others were losing theirs? This delightful audiobook tells the story of how my grandfather, Laurence Horner, put our family ranch together. Harold Horner, my dad, begins the tale in Oklahoma, telling how the young Horners ended up in a small ranching community, detailing the process of how my grandfather bought homestead, and his beginning experience as a rancher. Take a step back in time, and witness this family story unfold.

Not sure about this “Story”; unless this is part of a “Series”? Was it self published?
