Historia
Emotional and raw, Sean DeMars tells his story of a life turned around. It is a tale of two families: one scarred by brokenness, another renewed by grace. In his storytelling, the tragedy and horror of his early years are punctuated with the beauty of restoration evident in the life he now leads. Abandoned by a father and abused by a mother, his search for a father finds a home with the King of heaven who graces him with love and sonship.

All I have is Christ
Revisado: 06-20-24
What an amazing story. It was hard and heartbreaking to listen to at certain points. Sean showed a stark contrast through out the book between Sean then and Sean. I waited with anticipation for the moment that Sean made Christ Lord of his life. I appreciated that even after that Sean doesn't paint himself or his life as perfect. It's not perfect just changed and full of grace.
I had hoped Sean would narrate but understand that that might be difficult. The narrator did a good job. There were 2 to 3 hiccups that I caught including a whole paragraph that was repeated but nothing to distract from the story or message.
I am sure this was a hard book to pen but sharing how Jesus saved us from this world is so important. I am glad that we have this testimony we can refer to now. You aren't nothing Sean!

Jinger, along with three of her sisters, wrote a New York Times bestseller about their religious convictions. She believed this level of commitment would guarantee God's blessing, even though in private she felt constant fear that she wasn't measuring up to the high standards demanded of her.
