Narration, storyline, pace, and emphasis- one of my new favorite stories of all time. It makes me even more excited for the next installment!

Multiple stutters and mistakes and pauses in the middle of sentences. Homeboy clearly narrating it the first and only time while reading it the first and only time.

The content is fantastic though- I am thankful for summaries like these!

I love the breadth of “Creatives” interviewed in this book! It was eclectic, well-organized, easy to understand, and very practical at the last chapter without being overly dogmatic.

My only critique was that the voice actors weren’t consistent through the 3 “books” so that made you wonder if you were mistaken on which character was talking. The last book was a bit confusing that way but the story was rad. I’m glad that I purchased this book overall!

This book was packed with information! By looking at the hormonal aspect of dieting and weight gain/loss, Jason has started a conversation about the elephant in the room and has given us practical ways to conquer obesity. I particularly enjoyed his exploration of the topic “why all diets work and all diets fail”. I read “The Ultimate Guide to Fasting” by Dr. Fung prior and I feel that “The Obesity Code” is a less-cerebral, quicker-moving, and super informative book. The information contained is also congruent with many well-respected authors in the ancestral health community as well, such as: Chris Kresser M.D., Sara Gottfried M.D., Mark Hyman M.D., and Robb Wolf. I’ve put some of this information into practice over the past few days and am reaping the benefits already. Also Brian Nishii kept the book energetic and fun! 5 stars!
