Historia
Two days before Christmas 1996, the broken, battered body of Sophie Toscan du Plantier was found outside her vacation home in West Cork, a serene region on Ireland’s idyllic southern coast. Decades later, no one has been charged with the murder, but the aggrieved inhabitants of West Cork are convinced they know who did it - and he still lives among them.

well worth the listen
Revisado: 04-24-18
this is not my typical listen. But it really is worth it. Not a "book" in the sense of chapters and paragraphs. It is more the recordings of interviews and voices of the reporters who put this together.

Awesome!

This book is exactly what I was hoping. If you enjoyed Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter you will like this one as well. Taking real people and intertwining them into fiction is fantastic. I hope Henry's story continues on!

Cute Series
Revisado: 12-20-16
This is a cute series if you can get past the narrator. She is set on pronouncing the "T" in every word. And her voices from book to book doesn't vary, All in all I stuck out the reader as I was looking for something to listen to that was easy a little fun.

worth the listen
Revisado: 08-23-16
I don't listen to many books by Karen Robards but this one wasn't to bad. I thought the switching between male and female readers was a little much for me but I tolerated it. The story line was good and the characters were developed well. There isn't much I would change about the book its characters or the story so all in all it was easy to listen too

Jacky Faber, Bloody Jack, is back, and this time, she's facing a situation far worse than a ship full of murderous pirates. Curse of the Blue Tattoo, L. A. Meyer's sequel to the enormous popular Bloody Jack, is just as bawdy and entertaining as the original.

If you're looking for an awesome narrator!
Revisado: 06-28-16
If you are looking for a great narrator, this series is what you are looking for. Katherine Kellegren is absolutely fantastic. Her cockney accent is spot on, and all the voices for the different characters are very distinguishable.

Historia
Another shockingly suspenseful installment in #1 New York Times best-selling author Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. Burned picks up right where the surprising conclusion of Iced left off, and will feature beloved characters Mac and Dani O'Malley as they embark on another high-octane adventure in the Fever world.

Where's Dani
Revisado: 05-03-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
There was a lot missing from this book Namely Dani. I didn't even finish this book it was SO DULL.
What was most disappointing about Karen Marie Moning’s story?
All I got out of this book is a rehash of the first three and a lot of Mac whining. Dani goes into the silvers and it doesn't seem that important
What didn’t you like about Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross ’s performance?
NO NO NO
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
narration was good.
Any additional comments?
Don't waste a credit like I did

Historia
This classic tale is a fantastical fable of two dear friends - one of whom goes astray and is literally lost to the north woods, while the other undertakes an epic journey to rescue him. This charming, strange, and wonderful story is a timeless allegory about growing up and the challenges of staying true to one's self, and it served as the wintry inspiration for the blockbuster hit Frozen.

Even free not worth it
Revisado: 01-20-15
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone who likes the old time stories
What could Hans Christian Andersen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
To me it was really a dry very mono tone book
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Didn't really care for the little girl voice
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Snow Queen?
Would never have produced it
Any additional comments?
The beginning mentioned this is the book that inspired Frozen. Really??? Maybe I'm just a more modern book book listener

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....
