Great srory.

I enjoy all the Elder Races stories. It is pure enjoyment to listen to Sophie Eastlake bring these stories to life. I am always disappointed to realize I have come to the end of each book. Since I have listened to the entire series including up to Liam Takes Manhatten, I have now just finished a second listen of the series. I enjoyed The Wicked novella, though it was Sebastian's and Olivia's story, because it gave me a peek at Grace, the Oracle and Phaedra, the damaged Djinn from the Oracle's Moon, book 4 I belive. I hope to read more about this Djinn and her story in a later book,. She fascinates me. Thea Harrison is a favorite author. I love the worlds she builds. So much detail that I can literally feel surrounded by her story. I see everyone and everything very clearly.

Loved the narrator. The story was a bit drawn out, but still very enjoyable. I did get a little annoyed with Tess. I don't know why but I really didn't like her until almost the end. Thea Harrison builds a very interesting world and is a master wordsmith, her descriptions are amazing, Sophie Eastlake brings the story to life and I just lay in the dark llistening and iving in their world.

Great beginning to a wonderful series.

Dannika Dark has done a great job bringing the world of the Mage to life for me . I have not read any stories, until this series, that have opened this genre of the paranormal to me. Plenty of vampires, witches, werewolves, etc., but no mage until now. I'm very excited to read the rest of the series.

Nicole Poole's narration of Zoe's story is wonderful. She has brought Zoe's emotions out so well I've felt as though I were right there in the room or place with her, feeling everything.as it happened.

Adam, Justus, Simon and of course the horrible Samuel (wrong spellin) flesh out this first book very well. Simon is my favorite at the moment, his sweetness and wit have me roped me in.

I found plenty of laughs, tenderness, hell yeahs! and moments I wanted to get in there and throw a few punches to keep me interested and looking forward to the next book. Unfortunately for my wallet, poor thing, I will be purchasing that very book now! I had planned to pace myself, drag out the anticipation, but find I must know what will happen next.

Thank you Dannika Dark and Nicole Poole for another magical, fantasy world to lose myself in for a few hours. I'm sure this series would be great as a read but the audible aspect helps me get to those hours of magic and fantasy much faster!

Thea Harrison has hit a homerun with this story. Dragos and Pia are my favorite couple in the Elder series. I hope we get to read more about them and their son Liam. Sophie Eastlake does a wonderful job narrating. Sophie made the story come alive and transported me to a wonderful fantasy world. I know I will listen to this story more than once.
