Terrible

This book is nothing short of a whiny story. Poor pitifully me. The reader often reads lines and words twice. What a waste of time.

What did you like best about Wives, Fiancées, and Sidechicks of Hotlanta? What did you like least?
Excellent Narrating of the book! Patricia R. Floyd did a wonderful job.
Im not sure that I have an exact like or dislike of the book. It certainly has some funny stories in it about women behaving horrible and actually getting away with it Overall the book was oddly entertaining and the whole time I was thinking I don't think I've ever seen someone in the real world act this way and thats why the book is fiction. Or is it? If its non fiction claiming to be fiction with a nicely disguised package then its very interesting that the author is using a literary platform to air dirty her laundry. While thats not uncommon in books, this style is very different because it clearly relates directly back to the Atlanta Housewives Show. Anyone who has ever seen the wig pulling, stripper bashing, and drink throwing episodes will know exactly who this is about. I feel like the Author is taking the mud slinging to a whole new level. She made some pretty insane statements in the books that will leave the reader feeling negative of the person who they will relate to on the show. While she writes the book from the struggles of "Sasha" and her journey to marriage we all know who the key players are. Who else on the show was proven to be a "Dancer"? Who else on the show wears blond wigs everyday?
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Sasha did what she needed to do to get through the day. We have all had to bottle up some emotional crap and tuck it away at some point in our lives just so we can reformulate our plan and move forward... nothing wrong with that... very relatable. I personally wouldn't have handled it that way... but then again its just a fiction book right?
Which scene was your favorite?
Laying in the bed, looking at the ceiling.... very relatable. We've all been there.
Could you see Wives, Fiancées, and Sidechicks of Hotlanta being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Isn't it already a reality show? Clearly many parts of the book were changed just a tad to prevent lawsuits but yes its all from the Atlanta Housewives show and the Authors life as she perceives it. I personally don't think there is enough substance in the book to make it into a movie. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the book, I just wouldn't pay $15.00 to watch all the cat fights at the movies.
Any additional comments?
If a book can make you call a friend and reconnect after time has drifted your friendship apart then it must be a good book indeed! Only my humble opinion of course. In order for me to understand some of the language in the book I had to call my friend and say look I just got this book and I'm having a huge issue understanding some of the slang terms... What does this mean? She laughed , I laughed, we compared the situations in the book to the situations on the Atlanta show and laughed even more.. We talked about who we think the woman are most likely to be in the book and laughed some more at the outlandish behavior of the characters. I just couldn't imagine calling some of those ladies friends when the words they chose to use with one another are so hurtful. Apparently thats okay with these ladies. As for my own language barrier with the book I've probably fallen being the times on slang terms... aint just aint cutting it any more I suppose! Oh wait did I just throw shade on my own self! A fun read and lots of gossip to boot! Now lets see which lady of Atlanta Housewives writes the next book trashing this Author. My bets are on the Stripper, Oh wait I meant Dancer! Overall a good read if your looking for a little extra to go along with the Bravo show on the Atlanta housewives.

Historia
In her hilarious New York Times best seller You’ll Never Blue Ball in This Town Again, Heather McDonald recounted her adventures as an unwilling virgin in Hollywood. Now happily married with three wonderful kids, she shows that life as a grown-up - even a pretend grown-up - has its challenges. Heather’s a working mom with parents who live next door, a sister who keeps asking for one of her still-fertile eggs, and friends who are up to more hijinks than even Heather can handle.

The stories are funny! The book wasn't read all that well. Not for the money paid for the audio book. When you make a mistake while reading for the listener and your being paid to do so why not correct the mistake? Other than that the book was what I expected. Would recommend it to a fan.
