Incredible World Building
Revisado: 01-30-25
This book is phenomenal. Great characters and an amazing reimagining of the early 1910s. 10/10 would recommend and will likely read again.

Lush Dark Story
Revisado: 06-28-24
This book is incredible! It grabbed me immediately and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was completely engrossed in the story and the characters. Lane was a perfectly written quiet but powerful lead and Colton was immaculately written. The story is dark but not overly so, really a perfect balance, and mysterious. I didn't know where the plot was heading most of the time, in the best way, but the crumbs of information lead you to a very satisfying ending. Great book, cool perspective, will recommend highly to everyone.

Pretty good
Revisado: 05-22-24
This story is pretty good, it's not my favorite Sci-fi series but it's pretty entertaining. Good characters and character development. In the story, whatever could go wrong does go wrong in this series and Ky does a good job of untangling the mess. I would recommend the series for Sci-fi fans but maybe not for the casual enjoyer.

Decent Hard Sci-Fi
Revisado: 04-22-24
I checked this series out on a whim, it's pretty good but a little dry. I think the audio recording is from 2008 so it's a little dated compared to more contemporary audiobooks. The first book was really slow paced and I decided to check out the second book because the description seemed more action packed. It did not disappoint, this book was better paced than the first and the characters had more depth. The first book really sets Ky up as a character but the second book really developes her and the story/world building. Overall, it was pretty good.

This should be a Best Seller
Revisado: 02-22-24
Incredible book, gripping story, slow burn romance, great narration. Seriously, this book should be on all the lists, I'm recommending this series to everyone I know. I'll probably listen to it again before the 3rd book is released. I really hope this gets picked up as a show.

Crushed My Expectations
Revisado: 01-10-24
I checked out this book on a whim and had no idea what I was walking into. It exceeded all of my expectations, crushed them. The story immediately grabbed me. The complex characters and relationships between the characters simmers, Carissa doesn't rush the character development. It's the satisfaction of untangling a knot but there are still exciting unanswered questions. The Book is beautifully written and the story is gripping, dark, and hopeful. I'm fully invested in this series after listening to this first title. I may not have been the target audience for this series but I am now, I can't wait to listen to the next book and recommend the series to all of my friends. This is fantasy at it's best.

Historia
Think about the last time you tried to talk with someone about political, social, or environmental issues who didn't already agree with you. How well did it go? These conversations are vital, but too often they get stuck, or we avoid them entirely. We retreat to our camps, frustrated that we can't move our cause forward. What if, in these difficult conversations, we could stay true to ourselves while enriching relationships and creating powerful pathways forward?

Want to become a better communicator? This is a must read.
Revisado: 08-15-19
Breaking Through Gridlock is an accessible, practical and thoughtfully curated book designed to facilitate the readers journey to becoming a more impactful listener and communicator.
I’ve already asked my co-founder to pick it up so that we can go through the book together and will be inviting our (future) board members and staff to do the same. I learned a lot through the first read and exploration through the exercises and am looking forward to going through it again with my team. It is a book that I will come back to regularly throughout my life.
Highly recommended as a must read for anyone having conversations that appear to be polarized— which is all of us.
