If Alexander's homosexuality/bisexuality is THE most salient point trumpint his life , career , conquests and influence on the world...... then this surely is the book for you. The point is made and then remade over and remade over and over again to the point of dominating the book at the expense of such unimportant things as battle tactics and history in general. I've read several histories of Alexander over the years and any one of them is far, far better than this one. More and more modern "history" becomes blatently revisionist and agenda driven. What a disappointment!
