Great audio adaptaion
Revisado: 11-13-16
What does Tee Quillin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I have heard Tee read a few of Mark's books and I love the way he presents the characters. He does a wonderful job bringing the stories and characters to life.
Any additional comments?
I like short stories now and then, these are wonderful snippets of well written creepy stories. They are the right size to sink your teeth into. Mark's writing is varied and can take ordinary situations and make them scary. Some of the stories remind me of Stephen King in his younger years.

Each Dawn I Die contains ten thoroughly twisted tales from Mark Tullius. The setting of each tale varies from the next, yet the idea that permeates all of them is the author's preoccupation with discovering evil in the ordinary.

Dark, creepy stories
Revisado: 12-15-15
Have you listened to any of Tee Quillin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't heard this narrator before but loved how he told each story. He played with accents in some stories and in others he really grasped the characters well in my opinion. I would love to hear him read another book.
Any additional comments?
I am a big fan of Mark's stories. He has the right amount of psychological fear going on. They are dark and creepy reads, stories that you can sink your teeth into, not too long and not to short. The wonderful thing about horror stories is that they seem to stand the test of time, no matter how old the stories they can instill fear into you in some way. Mark's stories are ones that can be read now or ten years from now and still freak you out.

Wonderful choose your own story
Revisado: 06-29-15
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did listen to it all in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
While I have read the book I was curious on how this would work as an audio book. Like in the book, at the end of each section you can pick one of two chapters in the audio section to choose which path you want to go down. I have to admit it's a bit tricky on a audio book to do it as you get swept into the story and forget to choose sometimes but once you get the hang of it it does work.
The story is one that is creepy enough for kids but also keeps adults interested as well. I have to say I loved the narrator of this book! He did a fantastic job of it and really put a lot of variation of the characters and emotion into it as well. It would be a great book to have playing around a campfire at night…. in the woods.

Dark and creepy short stories

Any additional comments?
There are 4 short stories in this compilation and each one get creepier and freakier until you get to the last one that made me say " What the hell?" Seriously these are some pretty messed up stories. If short messed up stories are your thing then this book is for you! I love how each one just send shivers down my spine, especially the one that is in a mental institution. Mark is a master at these kind of short stories and even though it's only just over an hour long there is a lot of story packed into it. I sometimes wonder about just what goes on in his head when I read some of his stories and this one even more so.I really enjoyed this trip down the strange and twisted road these stories brought me on.

If you could sum up Cheating Justice in three words, what would they be?
fast, hot and engaging!
Any additional comments?
I listen to this with my husband on a car trip. He's not into reading but doesn't mind listening to audiobooks when we are driving long distantce and even he loved this one. I am a huge fan of Misty and Adrienne's Justice books and this was the first one I have listen to and absolutely loved the narrator! He did an amazing job on it and it made the time in the car fly. I highly recoomend this series and will be trying more audio books by these authors.

Loved the book and love the audio
Revisado: 07-01-14
What made the experience of listening to 25 Perfect Days the most enjoyable?
I read the book and loved it, when I had the opportunity to listen to the audio version I jumped on it. It took me a while to get into the audio version of it but when I did it came to life for me. I don't listen to many audio books but I sunk into the world of this book and found I didn't want to come out of it. If you have read this book I really think you will also love the audio version of it.
What about Dave Thompson’s performance did you like?
At first I had a hard time with his narration, it felt a bit flat. Once the book got going and he got more into the characters I really started to enjoy it.
