Kill Me brings Alan Gregory face-to-face with the most challenging case of his career. As always, White's characters are indelible and the dialogue is dead-on, but Kill Me is fresh and thought-provoking in a way that's so uncommon in crime fiction.

I normally do not like to write bad reviews on a book, nut this book falls short of his other books. I listened to until the end hoping it would get better. But it never did, maybe it was because of the subject matter.

Historia
Grand Central Station is hiding more than just an underground train system. When the body of a young woman is found in the tower suite of the Waldorf Astoria, Assistant DA Alex Cooper and Detective Mike Chapman find themselves hunting for a killer whose only signature is a carefully drawn symbol carved into his victims’ bodies, a symbol that bears a striking resemblance to train tracks. After a second body is discovered in a terminal alleyway, attention shifts to the iconic transportation hub and the potential for a bigger attack.

Silly and disappointing
Revisado: 07-21-15
I listened to all of the books in this series and enjoyed then all until this one. The storyline was good , but the banter and lovesick whining between cooper and Mike Chapman was nauseating to say the least. That and the information overload regarding NYC cause me to sip several chapters so that I could finish this book. I really hope this doesn't continue on to her latest book that's pending release.

Couldn't take anymore
Revisado: 02-12-15
I tried to listen to all of it, but the bathroom scene was more than enough for me. If the writer concentrated more on the plot instead of the teenage whining and horniness it could have been a good book.

Historia
Stone Barrington’s newest client does not seem the type to bring mayhem in his wake. A polite, well-deported gentleman, he comes to Stone seeking legal expertise on an unusual - and potentially lucrative - dilemma. Stone points him in the right direction and sends him on his way, but it’s soon clear Stone hasn’t seen the end of the case. Several people are keenly interested in this gentleman’s activities and how they may relate to a long-ago crime...and some of them will stop at nothing to find the information they desire.

WHY THE CHANGE IN NARRATOR!!!!!?
Revisado: 07-01-13
I don't know this narrator and I haven't listened to the entire book yet, so I wouldn't be fair to comment on his performance at this time. What I do know is that I feel cheated when you change narrators in the middle of a series Not only is it a distraction,it also appears that the author gets more negative feedback then he would under normal circumstances.

Historia
When Barry Fairweather dies unexpectedly in his early 40s, the little town of Pagford is left in shock. Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war. Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils.... Pagford is not what it at first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the town's council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen.

Historia
Frieda Klein is a solitary, incisive psychotherapist who spends her sleepless nights walking along the ancient rivers that have been forced underground in modern London. She believes that the world is a messy, uncontrollable place. The abduction of five-year-old Matthew Farraday provokes a national outcry and a desperate police hunt. And when his face is splashed over the newspapers, Frieda cannot ignore the coincidence: one of her patients has been having dreams in which he has a hunger for just such a child.

One of the Best
Revisado: 09-26-12
The book started off a little slow in the very beginning (intentional I'm sure) but kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the rest of the book to the end. I would like more!
