What is karma? Most people understand karma as a balance sheet of good and bad deeds, virtues and sins. The mechanism that decrees that we cannot evade the consequences of our own actions. In reality, karma has nothing to do with reward and punishment. Karma simply means action: your action, your responsibility. It isn’t some external system of crime and punishment, but an internal cycle generated by you. Accumulation of karma is determined only by your intention and the way you respond to what is happening to you.

Great book. I love hearing about the Masters.

Valuable for anyone on a journey to realization. Many "leads" for me to follow up on and study. Swami Rama is a interesting guy. Very open about how rebellious and stubborn he was. His suicide threat to his Master if he didn't give him instant Samadhi was humourous to me. I was left wanting more tales of the Masters. God bless.

This book instantly changed my life for the better

I quickly realized I was not breathing correctly for the last 38 years and immediately started experimenting with described techniques. 3 days later I can tell my diaphragm has expanded strengthened and needs more room in my rib cage. I started mouth taping at night and could perceive more mental clarity after the first night. I will not go without mouth tape from now on after realizing I spend the entire night over breathing, wrecking my pH levels and my overall health. My meditation has taken on a whole new meaning with breathing techniques. After playing with 3 breathing techniques wondering which is most beneficial I stumbled on and rapid breathing cycle that lit a fire in my loins. That was a surprise! This book turned out to be the missing link of information in my life and I will be thinking about and working on these techniques for a long time! Get that life force in every cell and live well! Thanks James!

After trying to become aware of what God is it became obvious to look at the other side of the coin. I heard this was about what God is not. Thankfully, I found it to be more of a guide than a description of nothing. It teaches to forget all concepts and just focus on the essence of God through contemplation. It will all become clear for you when it is supposed to.
