A sweet love story and entertaining that could have been even better if the author did not repeat things over and over again. the narrator did a great job in the telling. Clean out the repetitions and this would be great, my opinion of course.

Enjoyable

Am very picky about any western story I listen to or dead but this one kept me captivated throughout the story. Oliver, a Marshall though others do not know that, had just finished digging for gold and one his way out of the town found himself protecting a young girl from men his knew by the way they were acting, would kill the child as he later find out they did with her parents. His mission was to take her back East, to an uncle she has but never met before. The story will surely keep you listening or reading so you can find out what will happen next and you will not be disappointed in my opinion :)

...but for me so confusing as it jumps from one thing to another without it actually leading you too it. Not my cup of tea, though I am sure others will enjoy it.

Every wonder what happened to Erik after the orginial sotry of The Phantom of The Opera? Well, you wil find out what happen and it goes further back to his heartbreaking childhood! The author did a fabulou job in the telling and you felt every emotions of the story! A must listen/read, whichever way you perfer, you will certainly not be disappointment.

Rafaella a confused, spoiled and a nut case you lady! I just could not believe her mind and how when was able to manipulate others-the men- to do her bidding and if they did not or later realize that she wasn't well and backed away, she would do what she could to harm them. If you like a novel that has you listening or reading to the end to see what happens without stopping, this is the book for you!

I always enjoy listening/reading another version of Jane Austin's character, it give you another view of the characters and in some cases-like this one-brings them more alive. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Any story for me that happens in New York grabs my attention and I love the history of that time period, helps to know how it all became the wonderful city it is now. Struggles, heart ache and moving forward to the better is what all New Yorkers do to survive!

Love the story, the sense of humor here and there and the way they both work together--and that I truly like him/her--though they do not say it out loud. I so enjoy this type of Murder/Mysteries novels and this hits it all!...on to book 2!
