Historia
The legacy of General Nathan Bedford Forrest is deeply divisive. Best known for being accused of war crimes at the Battle of Fort Pillow and for his role as first grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan - an organization he later denounced - Forrest has often been studied as a military figure, but never before studied as a fascinating individual who wrestled with the complex issues of his violent times. Bust Hell Wide Open is a comprehensive portrait of Nathan Bedford Forrest as a man: his achievements, failings, reflections, and regrets.

This is one of the best books I've read. This guy was probably one of the best military leaders of all time. To survive so many battles is nothing short of a miracle.

Historia
Five months after being deployed to Iraq, Lima Company's 1st Platoon became one of the first American forces to enter Fallujah, where they encountered some of the most intense hand-to-hand combat since World War II. Civilians were used as human shields or as bait to lure soldiers into buildings rigged with explosives; suicide bombers approached from every corner hoping to die and take Americans with them; radical insurgents, high on adrenaline, fought to the death.

Historia
The chickens are coming home to roost for the corrupt officials, mainstream media, and Democratic operatives who ruined the life of an innocent American in an attempt to subvert our democracy. Carter Page, the man at the center of one of the worst scandals in our country’s history, reveals how our nation’s top law-enforcement officials abused their power and framed an innocent American citizen in their effort to take down Donald Trump.

Carter Page is my new hero!
Revisado: 02-25-21
The years of abuse he took from our own intelligence community in an effort to overthrow our 45th president is detailed. He was going to prison for absolutely no crime and our intelligence community was going to put him there.
This is a must read if you truly want to get a look at the deep state swamp!

Delta Force—the US Army’s most elite top-secret strike force. They dominate the modern battlefield, but you won’t hear about their heroics on CNN. No headlines can reveal their top-secret missions, and no book has ever taken readers inside—until now. Here, a founding member of Delta Force takes us behind the veil of secrecy and into the action to reveal the never-before-told story of First Special Forces Operational Detachment-D (Delta Force).

One of the best books I've listened to in a long time! I started it again immediately after I finished it. That is extremely rare for me to do.

Historia
In the predawn hours of March 4, 2002, just below the 10,000-foot peak of a mountain in eastern Afghanistan, a fierce battle raged. Outnumbered by Al Qaeda fighters, Air Force Combat Controller John Chapman and a handful of SEALs struggled to take the summit in a desperate bid to find a lost teammate. Chapman, leading the charge, was gravely wounded in the initial assault. Believing he was dead, his SEAL leader ordered a retreat. Chapman regained consciousness, alone with the enemy closing in on three sides, beginning the most difficult and exceptional fight of his life.

This book fills is the gaps in Robert's Ridge.
Revisado: 08-31-19
This book fills is the gaps found in Robert's Ridge. A much better and more complete story. Anaconda was a mismanaged fiasco. Leadership testosterone from every branch proved our inability to work together. It's a shame so many of our boys died in that mission and many others in the past because we have too many leaders who should never be leaders due to their egos.
