Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Already a Favorite
Revisado: 07-17-23
Some people are describing this as “depressing”. I didn’t find it so. I found it to be honest. And, more importantly, hopeful. If you don’t get that from this story, you’ve missed the plot (quite literally) completely.
I could tell very early in it would become one of my favorites- and now that I’ve come to the end, I can confirm that’s true.
I listened in 2 nights. I couldn’t turn it off.
And Carey Mulligan was PERFECT! I would love to find another story that she’s narrated. Her voice is tremendous.
I’m hoping they’ll make it into a miniseries. Carey as Nora and Emma Thompson as Mrs.Elm.
Five stars- would give more if I could.

Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Wrong Voice for narrator/Edward
Revisado: 08-06-20
They chose the wrong person to read- the voice is too flat, deep, rough, and angry sounding. It’s just...wrong. I couldn’t get past the first few chapters. I’m going to just read it on kindle instead.

BAD NARRATION
Revisado: 11-19-18
I was truly excited to hear this book!
I’m from the south, and and a frequenter of audible, and I can tell you this was a TERRIBLE choice to have the author narrate the book. A lot of times it works out- however, she has a southern accent that even I find grating, and she is literally just READING rather than FEELING anything. Reminded me of being in a 5th grade classroom reading aloud.
She should do herself a favor and have someone else narrate this!!!!
