Historia
In this first in a series of wickedly funny mysteries, best-selling author Lawrence Block introduces Bernie Rhodenbarr, sometimes burglar, sometimes sleuth. Pulling only an occasional, very discreet job, Bernie manages to maintain his comfortable New York City apartment and keep his unorthodox vocation a closely-guarded secret. Every burglar knows never to trust anonymous phone calls. But when the caller offers easy money for an hour's work, Bernie can't ignore the job.

This was described as a comic crime novel. I have finished chapter one. When does it get funny?

Historia
Malcolm Evans, the Beatles’ long-time roadie, personal assistant, and devoted friend, was an invaluable member of the band’s inner circle. A towering figure in horn-rimmed glasses, Evans loomed large in the Beatles’ story, contributing at times as a performer and sometime lyricist, while struggling mightily to protect his beloved “boys.” He was there for the whole of the group’s remarkable, unparalleled story: from the Shea Stadium triumph through the creation of the timeless cover art for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and the famous Let It Be rooftop concert.

Important book, weak narration.
Revisado: 08-28-24
it's dissapointing that such a long awaited and important story has such a poor narrator. I used a credit to get it. I'm glad I didn't pay money for it. I had to stop listening. I will buy a physical copy.

I want my money back.

waste of time. I want my money (credit) back. I used my monthly credit so it was kind of free - still not worth it.
