This book stands out

This is a strange entry in the series. The book is covering a lot of ground over a very large slice of time with little snippets from the time that’s racing by. It’s still a wonderful book, but it’s a little different than any of the earlier entries. *Spoilers and speculation going forward.*

It’s perfectly under stable as its setting up the next major event of the series that’s been building up since book 6-7, the Immortal war is gonna kick off and we needed to know that in these decades that a lot happened that was important and fulfilling in their lives before everything changes again.

A damn good sequel

Mr Thorne is doing a lot of writing, three series of very different styles and nature all revolving around a central romance and he keeps the quality rolling. An excellent sequel to an excellent series I only wish there were three of him so he could write three books at once.

I love Minaga

No spoilers, but Minaga is my new favorite character after Villy and Jake. All said, Nevermore is great, and you should like this if you liked the previous stuff, even if the tone shifts a bit and our extended cast is off-screen a lot more than usual.

Something to consider

This series has a lot more books in it than the ones you will find recorded for audio. Based on what I can find, I believe there is a licensing issue between the production company and the author. I highly recommend you read the books, just know you will not be able to listen to all of them.

Fantastic Conclusion

This is a truly wonderful conclusion to a great series. I am deeply satisfied with the way this series ends, and its epilogue. Truly a great read. Enjoy your tour through surviving a second apocalypse.

Something a little different.

I enjoyed the differences between the usual stories and the others of the genre. The voice actor really takes the whole thing up quite a few notches but there’s a fair bit of yelling.

What a great Trilogy.

I certainly have enjoyed these books deeply. Jake remains relatable, likable, and still grows through these books. The book ends in a way that makes sense, grounds the series, but still wrenches the heart just a smidge. I hope you’ll love these books as much as I have. Enjoy your journey, it’s a wild one.

Still Kickin’ Teeth in

This series is still great! We’re winding down for the conclusion, but this book is not anywhere near as slow as the others are saying. If you enjoyed the previous ones and the mature passing of good writing, you’ll enjoy this entry too.
