Historia
Whether it's among colleagues at lunch or an audience of 1000, a leader's role is to move and inspire others. It's not only the big occasions that test a leader's mettle, but the little ones as well - in a casual conversation in the elevator, in phone calls, or one of many incidental, seemingly "insignificant" interactions in everyday work life. Written by one of the world's leading communications coaches, Speaking as a Leader shows you how to make the most of your daily communications.

Historia
The history of Guinness, one of the world's most famous brands, reveals the noble heights and generosity of a great family and an innovative business. It began in Ireland in the mid-1700s. The water in Ireland, indeed throughout Europe, was famously undrinkable, and the gin and whiskey that took its place devastated civil society. It was a disease-ridden, starvation-plagued, alcoholic age.

Only four men in American history have been promoted to the five-star rank of Admiral of the Fleet: William Leahy, Ernest King, Chester Nimitz, and William Halsey. These four men were the best and the brightest the navy produced, and together they led the U.S. Navy to victory in World War II, establishing the United States as the world's greatest fleet. In The Admirals, award-winning historian Walter R. Borneman tells their story in full detail for the first time.

Dale Maharidge’s father, like many World War II veterans, never talked about “the good war”. There was just one clue to his dad’s experience as a US Marine - a portrait with a close friend that hung permanently in their home. In The Dead Drink First, Dale, now a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, recounts his 18-year quest to find and repatriate the missing remains of his dad’s buddy, Herman Walter Mulligan, 73 years after he was killed in action.

Great story about returning remains of WWII Marine
Revisado: 06-28-19
powerful, insightful, and at time brutally painful as you hear stories of marines who survived the battle on Okinawa. as an American, service member, and veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan this certainly hits home. I've notified families, helped them bury their loved ones. this book covers an 18yr endeavor of trying to locate the remains of a Marine and bring him home for his family to have closure and a final resting place.
