John Stanford is always a good read or listen. I have listened to or read most of the prey books, and also the virgil flower series. You won’t be disappointed with any of them. I do suggest that you go in order though.

Great memories!

This book is an enjoyable listen. Peggy Rowe is an excellent storyteller. They will make you think of your own childhood memories. Our mother sounded like quite pistol as did Peggy. And if you want to listen to it while you have small children in the car, you don’t have to worry about what word they come next. I think anyone would enjoy this book. I highly recommend it.

With everything currently going on in Israel and Gaza I wanted to learn more about history of the country. This book came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I feel that I have a better understanding of the region and also realize that you should educate yourself before you speak on the current issues. I think anyone can learn something from this book no matter what your viewpoint.

I order another bourbon, neat. This is the drink that will flip the switch. I don’t even know how I got here, to this place, to this point. Something is happening to me lately. I’m drinking too much. My sheets are soaking wet when I wake up from nightmares of decaying corpses. I order another drink and swig it, trying to forget about the latest case I can’t shake. Crime solving for me is more complex than the challenge of the hunt, or the process of piecing together a scientific puzzle. The thought of good people suffering drives me to the point of obsession.
