So many characters with too similar names. Hard to distinguish any but the main characters and even then confusing. I have listened to other stories in this genre ( Loved all of W.Wight’s) and refused to give up until the end. Not interested enough to buy the second book.

I generally love Lisa Renee Jones but was disappointed in the cliffhanger. The female narrator tended to get annoying (whiny voice). Liked the story line, just wish that it did not end at a crucial point in the story.

Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series is much better than 50 Shades. She is a talented writer.
Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first time I have heard Jill Redfield and I am amazed at her talent! She has such a wide range of voices. The voice of Ava is perfect. Her male voices are just as good. Gideon's voice is sexually masculine, I forgot that the narrator was female.
