Teenage mind, self righteous, over privileged naive, and stunted main character. Extremely disappointed evolution, the damsel in distress monologue and self loathing ruins this story. The constant victim mentality about her life, judging views of others, and the mind numbness selfishness/self centered mentality made it difficult to listen to this. And let’s not mention to narrator..!! So bad, even at 1.5 speed it felt like watching paint dry while being torched by nail on a chalkboard.. Extremely drawn out storyline, 4 books that could have been good in 2, less the infantilization of the main character.
