Grant knows his stuff, really changes your thinking about sales, yourself, and associates. Really enjoyed his take on negativity on how to handle it, made me laugh how clever it was. I think this is a nice short listen if you're looking for to fill some gaps in sales, product belief, and attitude. If you're not looking for something comprehensive, and rather opt for something quick, this is pretty good 👌

Really digs at motive and tackles many points for change, and gives you real deal of what a model of success looks like for Grant. The passion comes through his voice and made it a really enjoyable listen. Just by understanding his methods of his "why", the attention bit, morals of sucess, was truly inspiring and I'm all for it. Awesome listen 👍

John covers a wide range of topics for balancing life and career, and they're anecdotally great and sincere. They're short, well written, filled with straightforward advice. Pointedly, I really enjoyed his style of writing because he wasted no time giving you what you needed to understand for that particular chapter. There really is a lot of good stuff here, and many of messages left a long-lasting impression. Although it is more targeted towards Software Developers, I do think others outside this field will benefit significantly from listening to the Finance and Mindset sections.

This is definitely suited for someone already in business and wanting to figure out how to position themselves better in the market. Daniel really gives action-based systems that has worked for him and it really shows given his career achievements. It is a bit repetitive, but really narrows the point of what business patterns a director should focus on.

Brian gives it to you straight, and it works really well. You leave every chapter with some improvement advice you could add to take you to the next level. Although some advice is only surface level, it keeps its sound advice for lots of fields, and actionable immediately. There are some concrete examples in business product optimizations, that I'd think people would enjoy. Notably too, the flow structure and review at every chapter was easy to follow and made it for an enjoyable listen.

It's definitely detailed in breathing techniques, however, less of general applicability of mastery to someone outside of aerobatic sport's similar to judo (martial arts). Its greatest appeal is its diary form of entry and if you're in judo, I'd think you'll relate to a lot of what he mentions in this book and probably enjoy it. However, its greatest flaw is that it is way too long winded in some chapters and you'll feel it listening to it. The later half of the book, chapters feel tacked on, and unstructured as filler.

I was expecting a lot more information leaning outside of the path of physical mastery, that is why I rated it the way I did.

Ari's respectful nature of taking control is inspiring. The troubles that he was in, and still had the fortitude and capacity to push through is what makes this title special. More to that idea is the systems he actually uses, although costly, makes time for the things he enjoys. It is definitely a mindful way of thinking and interesting in the ways of business to leverage for more fun ways with using your time for the people or things you care about.

It's an excellent read if you're looking for a listen like that.

Although simple, it is quite complex in the variety of examples given to help prime your brain for her 4 advised techniques. For this reason, I had to re-listen and pause for moments to really understand how I could I apply them.

In the end, I understood the general message of what she was advocating for and why someone might endanger themselves by thinking in certain ways consistently. For that way, I think it provides good lessons for preventative measures, as well as, solving existing problems that you may have presently in your life.

He talks about his leadership experience and how it translated to his discoveries of reducing burnout within his team. It delivers on many aspects of why we burnout, and the many responsibilities and boundaries of both yourself and leadership.

Although a heavy introduction on failure of his role, it hit home on my experiences under management with having open communication. I think it is a good read if you want to learn more about what you can apply to help keep you happy.

My favorite take was on her ideas on why other self-help advice for intentional time doesn't work. She details this through her research, self-practice findings, and then gives plenty of applicable or idea spiking examples on being intentional with your time.

Although short, its content is fitting of the very clever subject title. Its simplified and "conversation to reader" styled approach kept me entertained and made it easy to see where I can make adjustments for my work and life balance.
