Historia
Like his FBI-agent brother Nick, Theo Buchanan is devoted to his crime-fighting career. Only Theo works the other side of the desk as an esteemed Justice Department attorney. At a gala ceremony in New Orleans, he is suddenly struck ill and is rushed to a hospital, where a brilliant and beautiful surgeon, Dr. Michelle Renard, saves his life. It is not the only life-and-death crisis that will ensnare Theo - for he is about to uncover a ring of criminals bent on preserving their secrecy at any cost.

Mercy shouldn't be abridged
Revisado: 06-10-09
I have to agree with Rachel that the abridgement of this book left much to be desired. I have this book as an ebook and have read it many times. The abridgment left out a lot of the humor that makes this book a pleasure. I hope that at some point it is redone as unabridged. I love the story it is one of my favorites of Julie Garwood. I have read it 6 or 7 times because of the humor as well as the romance and action. I bought the audio version because my mom's vision doesn't allow her to read easily and I had introduced her to other Julie Garwood books. I'm glad to see the other books are not abridged I am giving this book 3 stars because of the abridgment not because of the story line.

Tackett

I really enjoyed this book especially since I live in Montana. The odd thing is the book starts off talking about Cut Bank Montana but soon it switches to calling this town Cut Back.
The refrences to Louis L'Amour's Sackett are fun. The action is fast paced.
