Historia
The true story of Deng Adut - Sudanese child soldier, refugee, man of hope. Movingly narrated by Blessing Mokgohloa. Deng Adut's family were farmers in South Sudan when a brutal civil war altered his life forever. At six years old, his mother was told she had to give him up to fight. At the age most Australian children are starting school, Deng was conscripted into the Sudan People's Liberation Army.

What an important, haunting, and inspiring account of an incredible life in one of the world’s most troubled regions. Beautiful written and read, I cannot recommend this audiobook enough. It will move and inspire you, guaranteed. One of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to.

Historia
Alexander was born into the royal family of Macedonia, the kingdom that would soon rule over Greece. Tutored as a boy by Aristotle, Alexander had an inquisitive mind that would serve him well when he faced formidable obstacles during his military campaigns. Shortly after taking command of the army, he launched an invasion of the Persian Empire, and continued his conquests as far south as the deserts of Egypt and as far east as the mountains of present-day Pakistan and the plains of India.

What a great listen! Beautifully read and written. As a fan of ancient history and by no means an expert on Alexander the Great, this was a wonderfully spellbinding listen. Finished it in a few days. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
