Reader’s voice grates on my ears

The story is interesting however the reader’s weird whispery voice is hard to listen to in big doses. Her inflections are almost like AI to me. Like there’s no personality. This should’ve been a quick listen but took me several days to finish. Maybe she was trying to be soothing but it was not, at least not for me.

Great plot!!

I love the story however the narrator was giving AI or something. Some of her voice inflections were off and it took away from the story. I couldn’t stand her “man” voice either. Also some of the fine details can be improved on for instance why is someone who supposedly has money having to let her nails air dry when most women nowadays get gel polish which dries under UV light in like 60 seconds. Why are “High society” women going to the mall and eating mall food? Small things like that were noticeable but I could just be nitpicking. Overall the story was really good and engaging. I found myself talking to the characters like I knew them lol. Can’t wait for the second book Richie!!
