I really enjoyed the story and the concepts are completely unique for an omegaverse. The issue is that the girl seemed a little too childish to be so sexualized. So at times I felt a little pervy for listening to the story at all...lol. For those who want to know there are MMM thruple and MM couple in the pack that the F joins. Also there is a huge cliffhanger so be prepared to buy the 2nd book.

This one got me good

I just can't explain how awesome this book is! It is most definitely the best in the series. I love the raw honesty that you come to find in Fejo and in Veronica. I had found both of there characters interesting from the start of the series. Getting to see beyond Fejos shallow "waters" (inside 📖 joke) and why Vanessa is so unhappy with what happened when she was taken from earth. Overall it was a well thought out and written book and had a good bit of action and adventure to go along with my tears of joy and sorrow.

An Amazing Sequel...I Want MORE!!!!!

I'll just say that the book was awesome! I feel like a junky right now because i want MORE!!!! 😆 The book had it all an amazing plot, characters you that you love to love and love to hate. Love and passion, pain and betrayal, building a relationship that is real! You will laugh and cry! Honestly just read it! Trust me! 😉

Love the book. The narrator could be better

I always really enjoy A. Hadley's books and the Rise of the Illiri series are my absolute favorite. I've read it several times. I had to admit that I was hesitant at first with Cato's narration. I wasn't a big fan of the accent she gave the male "human" characters. I wish they would have made it sound more natural. At first, listen, it grated a bit on my ears, but after a while, it wasn't as bad.

For those not familiar with this series before warned that it is a true epic with, I think 11 books in all. This first book barely dips your toe into the creative genius of Hadley. So if you're like me and like to wait until the entire series is completed and before you start listening, you might consider waiting or reading the books first.

Laughed my ass off and cried my heart out in the same book? Very rarely happens, and I read and listen to a LOT! I can only give 5 stars. The narrator deserves a 10 at least! Brought the story to life all on her own! Just buy the damn book!

WOW!!! BUY THIS BOOK!!!

I can't say enough about how good "Stolen Trophy"' is. I laughed, I cried, I got hot and bothered. What more could you ask from any book? I can only imagine how much better the narration made the book. Both voices seemed to fit the characters perfectly and only added to a great story. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Why so many positive reviews?

I bought this book hoping to enjoy an exciting monster romance. Instead I was treated to hours and hours of huh? uhhh? what? and wtf? The storyline is barely cohesive, the writing is irritating and repetitive, and to really make it worse the sexy times were minimal and kinda dull. A few times I wondered if the writer was a non English speaker because the descriptions were so unusual and repetitive. I would not buy again and will probably ask for a refund.

A contemporary omegaverse

I've read several omegaverse stories prior to this one, and I have found that they are typically more of a dystopian universe. Where omega females are treated very much like possessions and the stories tend to be much more salacious. I honestly think I prefer the more devious and fantastical universes. However there was enough fire to keep me interested in the book, though I felt it dragged at times. I didn't realize this was a series with a cliffhanger otherwise I may have held off till more of the books were released. I will buy the next book when it's released though.

A great deal for a pretty good RH

I think the biggest struggle for me in this book is the enemies to lovers aspect. it's not a storyline I typically connect with and is possibly why I couldn't put the series into 5 stars. But overall the story had a really unique world despite it existing in a traditional shifter world with fated and rejected mates. The shadows definitely kept me interested in what was going to happen next. The narrators both did an excellent job and would enjoy another book narrated by them. The sexy scenes were well written though did become a tad bit repetitive at times. I prefer books where the guys aren't afraid to cross swords lol...but since these guys are essentially "brothers" it doesn't happen. Overall would recommend!

Book flew by in one sitting

I continue to enjoy where the POP books keep going. I'm excited to see where the story continues to grow over the next 3 books. My only complaint is that it has to be over 5 book series. I really feel like either the story could be more "fluffed" out or combined into 3 stories. I feel like this book is just a step away from perfect and a bit more background/explanation would have put it into the 5 star slot. I'm excited to see what new love interests might present themselves and where the story will end.
