Get Another Narrator

I love Pepper and have thoroughly enjoyed all her Audible Books, except this one.

The story is great, 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️/5 for spice. Loved the world building.

Wonderful World Building

Pepper did an outstanding job with this piece. It is rich in world building. The story is medium fast paced. I enjoyed the flaws in both main characters. Book 2 should be really interesting.

Scary, Heartbreaking, Brutal and Terrifying

The author should have let us know all the trigger warnings.

Trigger warnings: savage abuse of women, sexual assault, cannibalism, dismemberment, the list goes on, I’m pretty sure I missed some stuff.

This book wastes absolutely NO TIME getting right down to a realistic alien abduction. It’s brutal and humans are savagely murdered and mutilated. No one is immediately falling in “fated mate” love. No one is left untouched.

These humans are tough as nails. The stories are not for the weak.

Meticulous World Building

This is a long haul series. The world building is very well put together.

Every story is a terrifying adventure. These keenly intelligent human women are feisty and demanding! Some of them made me grit my teeth. Some of them them made me very sad. All of them gave me the same fuzzy warm feelings. Some of the characters are more lovable than others, but overall, this is a great story.

Roller Coaster Ride

This is a very interesting Sci Fi Romance series.

Our first mfc is over 40. That was an immediate surprise for me.

We get a pov from earth re: missing humans. Their poor families are left a wreck.

Parts of this series is very hard to read. These are the areas I would expect an actual alien abduction to go. The victims are HORRIBLY mistreated cattle.

1. HEA’s aren’t guaranteed.
2. Humans are seriously injured and disfigured by aliens.
3. Sexual mutilation as a form of torture.
4. Rape as a form of torture
5. Cannibalism as a form of torture.

I went from being really angry to understanding how and why our society is so toxic.

A Nail Biter

Pick a weekend, grab a comfy seat, & hold on for dear life. This book is nonstop action.

Cain and Able are vamp/alien/human. They’re both fierce creatures who are going through HELL!

Dark Sci Fi Romance

This story involved a lot of very brutal violence. The mmc branded the fmc almost to her bone. She tried (several times) to escape via a few different sewage pipes. The enslavers are racist. The conflict goes on and on…and on. It’s kinda how one would expect a story like this to go. The humans were in stasis for 4,000 years and not in the mood to submit to a humanoid society. So they fought HARD for their freedom.

I was hoping for an escape or insurrection. I gave up on the love story, but this is a good enemies to friendamies to mates love story. The enemies- friendamies is an all out bloody war. If reading extremely violent stories isn’t your thing, you’ve been warned.
