Lots of ideas, many don't pan out

The book has loads of cool ideas but so many of them get axed off before they're allowed to develop and some are literally killed off.
The stuff that touches on ideas to improve the world are neat but then so much of the book just revolves about non-interesting things. What bothered me was there were plenty of interesting things teed up but then just abandoned.

Got this performance on a recommendation from a friend and if it hadn't been free, I'd have asked for a refund. Baldwin's performance is fine, but the story... I'm amazed this got published.

Definitely okay

Altered Carbon was very good so I went into this one for more of the same, but, it simply wasn't. This was an okay book, don't get me wrong, but that's it. It felt predictable and Kovacs didn't feel consistent, like this was originally a story meant for a different character, and then Kovacs got shoehorned in

Great installment

As always, Skippy and Joe go about their merry business and naturally find themselves in all sorts of trouble. The narration is as before absolutely top notch and I got through the book real quick, indicating just how much fun it was. Highly recommend it, can't wait to listen to the next one.

Woah, this is heavy

I'd just gone through the Bobiverse books so it felt like I was getting all these lessons from Bob, which was fun. Narration was great. As for the contents, super interesting for anyone interested in cyber security or someone who wants/needs to be anonymous online. Mitnik clearly knows his stuff

Fine, but not as good

Yahtzee is always a good narrator, but this just wasn't as much fun as Mogworld or Jam. Or maybe I've just been spoiled by The Bobiverse and The Expedition series. Still, a fine purchase

Very mixed

A must listen for any and all who want to learn more about alternative relationships. I have a poly friend and I gifted this title to him, so yeah, definitely worth the credit

A good collection

First off, this is well worth the credit. That being said, the narration at times feels a bit flat and kind of breaks the immersion, but sometimes it's so spot on you feel like you can't turn off the lights.

Good setup

I liked the book. I got it when a friend mentioned a TV series and I thought I'd check the book first. The book presents a great setup for a really interesting story but then all of a sudden it's just over, just cuts off... The end, just when the story is really taking off.
It did make me interested in the series, it'll probably make more out of the setup.
