This is awkward. I'm awkward. He is really awkward. Still, we do awkward well. A second chance at a romance isn't something I expected to find on this trip to the Big Apple, but I wasn't going to walk away from it now that I found it, either. This is a contemporary erotic romance with explicit content. Light BDSM elements, first-person POV. It's going to make you think, it's going to make you laugh, and it may make you cry - but only because it is a well-won happily ever after.

I absolutely loved it. It was a good story and had just enough spicy scenes without being repetitive. Loved the lead characters and everyone else involved. Felt finished at the end as well. There's nothing I hate more than feeling like an author cuts a book short like they didn't know where to end it but this was absolutely perfect. Once I started, I had to finish it. Will be searching for more of her work.

shorter than most of the audible books I listen to but it was honestly super cute and worth listening to. Left me wanting a follow up book.

Never in my 40 years did I think my new normal would be gluing body parts back onto ghosts and hosting a houseful of dead squatters. Thank God for superglue and a strong stomach. Never thought I’d date the Grim Reaper and that I would be the one to blow it. I mean, how idiotic does one have to be to get dumped by a dude who lives in Hell? Going about business as usual is not usual in any way. No one is who they seem to be...and to be honest, neither am I. What I’d known to be true has turned out to be myth. The angels are frightening, and the demons are hot.

i love the series and characters. I just feel some things are very repetitive. she explains the same things again and again. If I counted how many times she brings up being southers I'm sure it would be atleast 3 times per chapter. There's some parts that feel like summaries of the first book.

it wasn't bad but it wasn't really all that interesting. It was just life going on. No suspense, no climax, nothing. All the characters were just living life. not really sure how else to describe. It starts of with mother and daughter both needing a place because of a divorce and cheating fiance. Then they come into an inheritance and the story is pretty much just a description of them fixing up the place and the mom liking the handy man. Which leads nowhere. The ex finds out about the inheritance and laywer gets involved. it was maybe 5 minutes of the story then doesn't get brought up again. & then it ends with her son showing up at the house which was also only mentioned and never really like an interesting part of the story. overall. I listened to it to have something going on while I cleaned or got stuff done and since it wasn't very interesting I wasn't too worried when I missed any parts.

Olivia Barker is a therapist with no connection to the murders. But she has heard things. Stories that keep her up at night. Details that only a killer would know. A killer who could be one of her patients…Olivia has no proof for her suspicions. But as the body count rises, so do her fears. A rock is thrown through her window, her car tires are slashed, a chilling message is scrawled on her bathroom mirror.

loved it
Revisado: 08-25-23
absolutely loved everything about it. I made a few guesses in the beginning but even then it wasn't obvious or redundant. Author did an amazing job writing and the narrator managed to do each voice in a way that you could feel yourself there. Not a single complaint. I finished it in about 2 days and only because I had to stop to sleep.

not worth listening to
Revisado: 07-28-23
struggled to finish. It was very obvious from the beginning and the voice acting for the cops was just cringey and horrible. I finished it because I hate leaving books midway but not really worth the 2 hours listening.
