Historia
On the night Rune’s life changed forever, blood ran in the streets. Now, in the aftermath of a devastating revolution, witches have been diminished from powerful rulers to outcasts ruthlessly hunted due to their waning magic, and Rune must hide what she is. Spending her days pretending to be nothing more than a vapid young socialite, Rune spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who rescues her kind from being purged. When a rescue goes wrong, she decides to throw the witch hunters off her scent and gain the intel she desperately needs by courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe.

Outstanding narration, beautiful British accent was totally enchanting.

Disliked the names of chapters rotating from Rune to Giddeon, this became monotonous. Name chapters something that resonates with the action in the chapters

The books have won multiple awards and sold more than 400 million copies, becoming the best-selling book series in history. However, she lost her billionaire status from giving away much of her earnings to charity.

Inspirational for Authors and Creative Types
Revisado: 10-20-23
over the years since the Harry Potter series launched and began the climb to the top, I have heard parts of her story, but not a full dedicated study that included the exact series of the details of her life. This is highly inspirational for anyone writing.
Recommended, most definitely!

Like a time machine, the insights shared give a historical account of the majority of things that are going on in the narrator's life.
This is a great monolog and could be easily adjusted from a book to theater or film.

Dark Sarcastic Love Story, With Deadly Twist
Revisado: 12-20-22
Author has a great way of climbing into the head of the characters and writing dialogue that is fresh, new, delightful, scary, hauntingly refreshing. Most awesome "meet cute" in the bookstore. I loved the scene in the made for television series. This first book is incredible when made into film, although the lines of the book are much more artfully written and reveals the twisted mind of the serial killer in a much darker way.

Basic Helpful Information
Revisado: 07-22-22
This is a good introduction type book for someone who is just contemplating writing a book.
Good information. It covers the basic information that you need to know before writing and publishing a book.
The chapters are fairly short, you make it through this book quickly. It adds a few insights that I have not heard before - such as formatting. The stories are compact, not a lot of detail or overly fluffy - but they make their points.
If you are wanting more depth, I recommend reading (or listening to) Kelly Notaras's book called "The Book You Were Born to Write". That goes into a lot more depth and is especially good for those authors that plan to write a non-fiction book in the self help, memoir, spiritual, psychology type genres. Kelly is one of the teachers in the Hay House Author Publishing Writing Workshops. I have taken four of the 4 Day Writing Workshops with Hay House. That is a good course to take when you are more serious about writing and publishing your work.

Historia
Before mp3 players came along in the mid 1990's, listening to audiobooks was a pain. The number of titles was tiny, narration was dull, and if you wanted to listen on the go, you had to juggle a bunch of clunky cassettes. Don Katz faced these frustrations every day while jogging. He was an accomplished writer who thought there was something special and intimate about hearing an author's words spoken aloud. He wondered: what if audiobooks could be purchased online and downloaded onto a dedicated player? At the time, the concept was so new that few people knew what he was talking about. But in ...

Incredibly Inspiring! Great Podcast Interview!
Revisado: 11-07-21
This is an incredibly positive interview that is extremely inspirational for anyone who has ever contemplated doing something that is entrepreneurial. Thank you so much for this podcast interview. More people should hear this. It is extremely uplifting and insightful.
I was there with you - along for the same learning curve of technology where I was hauling around a huge cassette case in my car with numerous self help gurus that were first putting interviews and speeches on a cassette recording where I could listen to these while on the road heading to and from college. I had a whole collection of cassettes by Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Dr. Wayne Dyer, etc... that I would take with me where ever I would go. There was never a 10 minutes drive across town where I wasn't listening to another speech or interview. I would also listen to these the 30 minutes that it took me to curl my hair and put on my makeup each morning. Yeah, it was clunky and inconvenient to haul all of these cassettes around, but it was the only way that I could continue to constantly learn something new, each and every day.
It has been a few years since I've been in this habit, but I am really enjoying coming back to audios through Audible.com. I'm in the process of writing my own book now. One of the key things that everyone has said to improve your writing - is to READ. I just went through cataract surgery because I've been online so much, researching and writing. I am still writing my book with research online, but I had to find another way to continue READING -- to get the information without creating additional stress on my eyes. This is how I found Audible.com.
Thank you for your dedication to find the technology breakthroughs that have been able to condense the bulk of cassette tapes into an app that I can easily use with my cell phone and computer. I'm loving this! What a great way to continue learning and growing!
As a writer - I am just now using your audio books as a way to narrate the book as I listen as I'm reading. I'm able to see how the author and editor created paragraph breaks, punctuations, dialogue, introduced characters, etc... The fact that you are able to pair this with Kindle.com - and have a break in price is really a great sales feature. I love the fact that audible.com offers thousands of FREE podcasts and books - where I can continue expanding my library.
Your interview is fabulous! I appreciate your entrepreneurial efforts even more knowing all of the steps that you took to make this technology happen! Thank you!

Part manual and part memoir, Jenniffer Weigel pulls back the curtain of her life and shares how getting a divorce and moving away from her "white picket fence" dream actually helped her gain a greater awareness and happiness. Her sense of humor reminds us that even though staying on the spiritual path has its fair share of challenges, you are not alone and you will laugh again.

"The Eat, Pray, Love" of Divorce
Revisado: 11-01-21
Excellent sense of humor, spiritual insights, great book for personal growth. I love this author's outlook and narrative voice style. A PLUS, PLUS, PLUS! I'm still listening to this, it really expands your consciousness. A truly GREAT Book for women going through any kind of transition in their lives, particularly dealing with a relationship breakup or divorce. The stories about her son that died were also handled in an uplifting, spiritual manner where they entire experience was reframed in a much more positive way.
