Historia
Stirringly evocative, thought provoking, and often jaw dropping, The Operator ranges across SEAL Team Operator Robert O'Neill's awe-inspiring 400-mission career that included his involvement in attempts to rescue "Lone Survivor" Marcus Luttrell and abducted-by-Somali-pirates Captain Richard Phillips and culminated in those famous three shots that dispatched the world's most wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden.

Refreshingly honest account.

I particularly enjoyed the details in his missions with out too much jargon and bs. Story flows smoothly and engages you with out being overly dramatic and colorful. Although i knew the outcome of many of these missions, i couldnt stop listening. Hearing his voice recount his missions and stories makes this book even more genuine. Its reaasuring to know this man with his voice and memories is able to clarify some misconceptions me and folks have about operators and military in general. That in the end they are human just like everyone and vulnerable like the folks they had to shoot and kill. They have extraordinarily difficult jobs are put in difficult and impossible situations and most manage to excel, and survive. To the families of the ones that served and made the ultimate sacrifice, we will keep you in our prayers.

Historia
Wanted: Volunteers for Project Delta. Will guarantee you a medal. A body bag. Or both. With this call to arms, Charlie Beckwith revolutionized American armed combat. Beckwith's acclaimed memoir tells the story of Delta Force as only its maverick creator could tell it - from the bloody baptism of Vietnam to the top-secret training grounds of North Carolina to political battles in the upper levels of the Pentagon itself. This is the heart-pounding, first-person insider's view of the missions that made Delta Force legendary.
