I have over 400 books in my library, 90% are science fiction, but few make me think or haunt my spirit like those by James s a Corey. This book is like that. When colorful rich sentences play out, I have to stop, absorb the statement for a moment, decide how I feel about it. I can't just let it keep playing. if I do let it continue to play I'll miss a second sentence while my mind wanders down the path to understanding the first.
This is not always the kind of book I want to hear but I have never regretted it when I did.

this has been one of the most graphic and violent books I've ever heard. like a car crash that goes on for hours. I have seriously questioned my humanity for continuing to listen.

I've been a fan of Syria since the very beginning with little exception, it has been a tremendous and wonderful story to experience. I guess this is supposed to be the last book in the series and that makes me sad it also felt like they opened up the possibility for a lot of Amos stories that could come out. who knows?
I know this is supposed to be done, I can perhaps, move on to some other fine books!
