Longtime Favorite!

I just re-read this book for maybe the tenth time. I've lost count. I tend to be a person that gets addicted to a good book, so when I'm busy with work, I avoid reading anything new. I prefer to read something I've already read so I don't have a problem putting it down to focus on work. This is one that I pick for those busy times. I have read the book version and the audible version. It's a great story! I read the entire series and enjoyed all of them, but this is my favorite. Both characters are good people, they face their personal challenges, and they eventually find support, respect and love in each other. I also enjoy the parts with Remi, Brooke and Racer. I guess I never wrote a review and I thought I owed it to Katy Evans since she has given me so much joy with this story.

So good that when I finished it, I started it over and listened a 2nd time. Excellent narration and even better storyline. Everything ties together. Love the history and the characters. Beautiful!

Clever Story - Loved the math and music

I really enjoyed this. It was an emotional journey and I couldn't stop listening. the story was cleverly written and I loved how the narrator sang the songs instead of reading the lyrics.

I bookmarked so many places as I listened to this. Then, I finished and found I couldn't move on so I just restarted the book. The prose was perfect, the narration just added to the story. Highly recommended!

Nice story, not too much angst

I always enjoy Sarina Bowen's stories and I have heard this whole series. I like that there wasn't too much angst. With COVID-19 happening right now, I need reading to be a happy escape. This book had nice characters and I enjoyed it.

Excellent story - Excellent Narration

I read this book years ago and I decided to listen to it on Audible with my 17 year old daughter. She was too young when I read it originally. What a great story! We both loved it. I had forgotten how good it was. This is truly Stephanie Meyer's masterpiece so far. We live in Arizona and we drove past Picacho Peak not long ago, so that was cool too. I love how the characters develop and learn to understand each other and eventually care for each other. It really makes you think.

Worth a Repeat Listen

I listened to this many months ago and loved it. Now, I just listened again. So good. The narrator is awesome. The storyline is great and keeps you guessing. So glad I gave this book a chance.

I shouldn't have hesitated

I waited a long time to read this book because of the negative reviews. I should have known better. I've enjoyed every book I ever read from Julie Garwood. This was a good story with mystery, action and romance. Not my favorite in the series (Ransom was my favorite), but enjoyable and worth my credit.

Worth a 2nd Listen

I listened to this series a long time ago and really enjoyed it. Recently, I was scrolling through my library looking for something that I've already heard. I don't have time to get wrapped up into a new story right now. It's too addicting! Well, I was reminded what a great story this was and also, "The Secret". I love Julie Garwood's stories and Susan Duerden is an awesome narrator. She does all of the voices and they are amazing! So good and so worth my credits (a few years ago).
