Love this series. SSSH is the first book I read from this author and I hadn’t stop listening since. Been waiting for this series to continue and now it’s getting closer to the end and everything is falling into place. Absolutely amazing story and spectacular narration

As always amazing story. Narrator doing another amazing job. So Happy that he continued this series and others. Been following him for years and listen/read all his work. This story picks up right after SSoSH 3, it has some good info in it but does leaves you wanting more.

Been reading/listening to this author across all his pen names, love all his work, of course under this pen name all his work is for an adult audience. Granted theirs a lot of sex in this series but what do you expect with an Incubus as a main character. I think the author kept it balance, pretty well between the action, sex and continuous story from other series. Answer a lot of questions from other series but also left more questions. Can’t wait for next step in this series.

Loved every minute of it!!!

Love how the author connects the stories so seamlessly. Also able to make stand alone stories that have you rooting for the character, laughing in public, and straight angry when one of the main characters inner circle is injury or killed. Absolutely love all his books as soon as one release I get it and binge it in a few days. Then re listen to it multiple times to catch the smaller details I missed on the first pass. Love this series can’t wait for the next one. SSoSH is still my all time favorite because it’s the series that introduced me to this author and his many, many, many great stories. Just wish he would do more then trilogies but I take what I can get!!

This book pop up in my recommendation list and I was in between books. So I figure I give it a shot. Turn out to be a really good book. If you enjoy/like lit RPG books then it’s definitely worth the time to listen. It starts off slow but definitely picks up traction.

This is one my top three so far of the series. Had me constantly wanting to get back to it and find out what happened next. Had me on the edge of my seat stressing about what’s going to happen next to the characters. Definitely worth the listen.

Just WOW! Kel Kade killed it with this book and it’s got me wanting to read the next book in the series. I been waiting on his other work “Dark Tidings” but dang I can wait if it means I can get book 2 of this series sooner. Like I stated in header it starts off slow and dull but then it picks up speed and keeps you wanting more. I don’t want to give any spoilers because even small ones would ruin the experience this book will bring. The narrator Nick Podehl as always KILLED IT in this performance. Always love his work and the way he can bring more detail to the characters with his performance. Anyways it’s a MUST READ!!!
